After the Body Blitz, I lost 9” and my clothes fitted with comfort! I felt re energised and more confident about myself

I work out with Karin twice a week and every few months a add the Body Blitz into my routine. I just love the extra tighten effect and “lift” all over my body! It’s addictive!
I wanted to wear my favourite dress to a special event and I could only get the zip half way up! In desperation with no time to diet I tried Karin’s Body Blitz- after only 4 sessions I managed zip up the dress! I now do the Body Blitz regularly to keep my body firm and in shape.
Going to work after “lockdown” all my suits and dresses were so tight and uncomfortable. I didn’t want to buy a new working wardrobe and go up a size! Instead I tried Karin’s Body Blitz and got into all my clothes easily- it was incredible!
Just completed the January Body Blitz and what an experience. It was:
energising as I felt so motivated,
engaging as Karin did the sessions with everyone, and
effective as I lost an incredible 11 inches!

Prior to doing this Blitz, I was doing a good number of classes a week with Karin so had thought the inch loss wouldn't be much, but, I still lost 6 1/2 inches - an inch at my waist, abs and each thigh, half an inch each knee and quarter inch loss everywhere else. It is not only the inch loss that is a benefit of doing the Blitz, it's the definition, smoothness of skin and the refocus on technique and posture.
I was looking to lose a few inches and to feel and look more toned so I decided to try Karin’s online Body Blitz. It was amazing! Karin took us through all ten classes as a group and her enthusiasm and dedication made the classes enjoyable as well as challenging. My commitment to the Body Blitz certainly paid off as I lost over 7 inches and feel more toned and lifted. I am looking forward to the next one!
I want to congratulate Karin Mackenzie for running her first Zoom Blitz in January 2022. Having been a devotee of Callanetics for a number of years in the studio and now regularly on Zoom I knew how good a Blitz would be with Karin who is worthy of her title as a master trainer.
It consists of 10 x 1 hour sessions over 2 weeks - you get the middle weekend off! You are encouraged to measure yourself before and after with Karin emailing you detailed instructions. I was delighted to find I had lost a total of 8 inches overall including 2 off my abdomen which I was so chuffed about! This is because you are working on specific muscles to lift and tone. Karin explains so well what you are to do by telling you:-
- What muscles/ part of the body you are working on.
- What sensation you should be experiencing.
- The goal of the exercise e.g toning the inner thigh.
Not only do you see the difference with the tape measure you feel it in your body. I felt taller from the improvement in my posture. I was aware I was lifting up from my pelvis and I even had to alter the rear view mirror in my car as I was sitting straighter! In addition, as a mood enhancer I also found it so beneficial as I was focussing on me and not my to do list.
Is it easy? You get what you put into it. Karin builds up the techniques during the Blitz so you are challenged but you only do what you are comfortable with as there are always options from beginner to experienced so you always work within your own comfort and safety. Her method of teaching is so supportive it is like she is in the room instructing you.
Would I recommend it - wholeheartedly yes. A great investment of 10 hours of your time and money. Karin’s classes are seriously addictive. I will be booking up for another Blitz as a dedicated block of “Me Time” for my body and mind - oh yes and assisting in the fitting of a Mother of the Bride outfit!
